If Perry canceled his visit after Bliss committed originally, why would he be interested given that Bliss is still here and even has a year on him of familiarity in the program?

Rohde and Dante were here at the time. Dante probably gone (no UVA stuff in his bio) and Rohde did not pan out. Plus Bliss maybe not being ready, pitching multiple ball handlers, and our pay is now average I guess.

For elite players or even good role players, the portal is a way to maximize financial and playing opportunities. Has it become a more acceptable way for teams to push players out as well? I know scholarships were always one year deals, but it feels more rampant now. Do the numbers support that?

Itās a little hard to operationalize. The NCAA used to release reports that tried to categorize transfers by destination, but that was pre-portal. They do share data on total number of transfers and what division transfers end up in, but thatās probably not fine grained enough to answer your question.
Thanks for this. I will sift through it later. The NCAA probably isnāt keen to demonstrate how colleges are benefiting at the expense of student athletes regardless, but maybe with the right filters it shows up.

LMAO when I first started following I literally thought āhe kinda looks like Kadinā. Heās a jumbo win you pair with DUDES in the front court and DAWGS at the 1-2 spots.
Being brutally honest if we used one of potentially two transfer schollies on Anderson Iād be incredibly disappointed lol. Maybe if we had like four spots available you add him as a stretch 4 who can come off the bench, but this dude needs a TON of development in order to play against ACC frontcourts.
