Damn. Missing the full season stinks. I was holding out hope there might be a chance he’d be back later in the season (both because I’d like to see him play and because it would’ve been a positive indicator on the severity or lack there of of the injury)

It’s the last big year of the COVID bonus transfers, so it’s still hyper-competitive for players to find good landing spots (more player “supply” for the same roster spot / playing time “demand” means it’s relatively a coaches’ market).

Next year may be quieter and guys like Dante and Bryce will find more transfer opportunity without 500 extra 5th/6th years clogging up the Portal.

Dante, Carter, Bryce, and Desmond are an insane collection of walk-on/manager talent. Somehow we’re at 17 rostered players for this coming season (obviously the injured, redshirting Gertrude one of them). Practice is going to be fierce.

…where is all the offseason content? Should everyone have moved in by now? Other places already practicing two weeks. We confiscate phones on move in and hand them back out mid March now?
