Lol! I bet!
Though thereās a lot of ways to skin the cat. You can be fast and agile, or you can use the strategy the younger sister of an old friend (and her husband) used to come in #2 in CA for mixed-doubles.
Wing-span.
Sheās 6ā2 and heās⦠Iām guessing 7ā1"? Iāve met him in person and he was so much taller than me I couldnāt even get a good grip on his height. Theyāre incredibly intimidating to play against.

Navarro plays in the third round late tonight (after 10pm, probably around 11/1:30pm)

Navarro goes out in both singles and doubles 3rd round.
Made it to the 3rd round and endeared herself to Aussies everywhere for years to come. Not a bad tournament.

Similar to last year, weāve challenged ourselves with a really tough non-conference slate and taken some early losses in the process (South Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio State).
Rodesch missed time with international duties, representing Luxembourg in the Davis Cup. Somewhat concerning is Montes missing a lot of matches early in the season, it seems he might be fighting through a shoulder injury. Big 4-1 win today over Duke in ITA indoors, but noticed that Montes was serving exclusively underhand in the match. We take on the winner of Tennessee/USC tomorrow and if we get through that, a potential rematch with Ohio State looms in the semis.
Dylan Dietrich has been a big bright spot, playing #2 for us and winning ACC freshman of the week multiple times already.
Iām optimistic that by seasons end, this years team will be just as strong as in recent years. This is likely our deepest team, with transfers Graziani and Hopper factoring into the mix

Itās kinda cool that Hopper has gone straight from D3 to a contributor at this level. The D3-D1 gap isnāt nearly as big in tennis as it is in other sports (e.g. the elite D3 teams have recruiting classes that would make it into the top 25 rankings of D1 mid-majors), but still impressive.

Yeah, I donāt think heās coming either. Only way heās a Hoo is if he falls on his face outside of Brazil.
(And I canāt believe Iām rooting for that to happen.)

Collins is on an unbelievable run right now. Big UVA shout out in her trophy ceremony speech too!

Didnāt see it. But the tennis center where they played this tournament on Daniel Island is the creation of Emma Navarroās father.
