Edit: Also #10 since Dec 1. Early season games make our overall number #14. And thereâs a similar adjustment you could probably make on other metrics. Itâs one thing to try to limit these results just to the last couple of weeks. And the whole season should be considered in deciding who is IN the bracket. But when youâre seeding teams and making decisions between a few closely matched teams it makes sense to look at the last 20 games or so more closely.
One note, if we end up in Philly (which would be likely unless Duke wants Philly) then they wonât pair us with Penn, so the rematch feels unlikely.
Kennesaw State would be my guess. Tennessee would be our six (BYU canât play Sunday, UNC/UL are in the ACC and they would likely avoid even if technically possible). Which 11 seed is a crapshoot.
