Although I’d argue he was playing at an All American level before getting hurt (and ultimately settled in post injury after a few rough games).

I don’t get the impression that we ever had him at the top of our list. We didnt seem to push hard the get him to Cville before the dead period, then bumped him once he was already on the schedule.
Maybe we just knew his price tag wasn’t gonna work with our budget or something like that.

We brought in depth and filled holes. My question is, and this is truly a question not a comment disguised as a question, did we upgrade in quality? I think that’s the next step, recruiting both HS and portal is stepping up in quality of talent.
