One of the guys I had down as likely to enter. Always played hard but the writing was on the wall when he got passed up on the depth chart by Danley and Marcellus.
He was actually moved to the DE room early in the season.
I think he ended up switching back to LB by the end of the year, he was being listed at MIKE on our depth charts. Granted those arenāt always accurate.
Regardless it doesnāt really matter because he was relegated to special teams for basically the entire season.
Are Danley and Marcellus the likely starters at LB next year? Presumably but not sure how they pair given skillset.
Also letās hope Kam is back and takes over at some point midseason
Was a comm school guy. Had an article where said he wanted to be in Investment Banking or become an Army Ranger after graduation.
Hope heās making the right choice with wherever he transfers.
Is Turbo Richard the less explosive version of Rocket Richard?
He prefers to go by Turbo Dick
Not disagreeing but curious who you would put on the list of current coaches who are doing that?
Iām assuming heās graduating with a UVa degree, heās listed as a senior on the roster (only played in three games his first season).
If youāre asking me what college coaches have shown greatness or at least hints of the ability to be great, thereās enough examples and my list isnāt at all comprehensive. Also, this doesnāt mean that the coach is currently great, just that heās shown a ceiling of greatness in his career.
Kirby Smart immediately elevated Georgia above the pretty high level Mark Richt operated at without a ton of increased investment initially.
Same with Dabo at Clemson.
Dan Lanning turned Bo Nix from what he was doing at Auburn into a 1st round QB and Dante Moore looks nothing like he did at UCLA under Chip Kelly.
Curt Cignetti is winning at Indiana.
Clark Lea is winning at Vanderbilt.
Pat Fitzgerald won at Northwestern.
Matt Campbell won at Iowa State.
James Franklin won at Vanderbilt, but couldnāt raise Penn State to the level of Michigan or Ohio State.
Lane Kiffin consistently won 10 games+ at Ole Miss and FAU.
Mike Elkoās won at Duke and elevated TAMU.
Kyle Wittinghamās won 10 games at Utah in 3 different conferences and consistently produced winners.
I donāt think I can say guys like Marcus Freeman, Ryan Day, Steve Sarkisian and Lincoln Riley have met this definition of greatness, but thatās not to say they arenāt great coaches or havenāt ever shown greatness. Itās just hard to know when theyāre taking over programs at the highest level already with the most resources and keeping it going. But thatās better than taking over a program at the top and letting it fall off the mountain.
Georgia immediately put a wall around the state.
Coincided with Clemsonās slide, maybe contributed. Auburn and FSU used to pull good HS players from GA too.
Kirby changed that. They might get leftovers, but UGA got first choice. That was immediate. He also started winning the recruiting H2Hs with Saban.
Folks in GA knew what was coming.
Folks may see on social media that Sage Ennis, JāMari Taylor, and Jahmeer Carter declared for the Draft today but thatās all formalities as they were out of eligibility.

Why is every kicker a 5 star?! Hope he can hit 50+ when needed!
Tcu QB trending to Louisville
I just want official word on Chandler. @XHoo anything?
Braden Atkinson
Need to go watch some film on him. Iād imagine everything is moving pretty fast with a small window
Should be the starter day one.
Great pickup
Not about Morris, but this article about Trinidad Chamblissā petition for a waiver for a 6th year gives some idea of the possible timeline for Morris and what more evidence was requested and what has to be shown for the waiver. Has Morris hired Tom Mars too?
