Back in the late 2010s / early 2020s when the Zags were a perennial Elite 8 / Final 4 contender, the very thing you are complaining about was HOTLY CONTESTED. That is, the odd polarized nature of the Zags schedule and how to compare it to a typical P5 team’s schedule. So back then you were not on an island. Or if you were on an island, it was like the island of Manhattan – very crowded!
And now? What media is giving them the benefit of the doubt? Nobody seems to think they’re a serious contender, certainly not post-Huff injury. What is it they’re being given the benefit of the doubt about?
