Calling Miami a ā€œbad teamā€ or disrespecting them is braindead. Winning 25 straight in D1 college basketball is a feat, I don’t care how bad your schedule is. If it was easy, we’d see decent teams schedule nobody and do it every year. The MAC is not a slouch conference either, there are some great coaches and players there. One of them is literally now one of our best players.

You can’t tell me a 25-0 team isn’t one of the 64 best teams in the country. You also can’t tell me they don’t deserve to be ranked, even if they aren’t necessarily one of the 25 best in the country. Yall sound like college football fans trying to keep G5 teams unranked and irrelevant.

Kingston Flemings is as locked in as I’ve ever seen a Freshman college basketball player be in my life

I sorta jinxed this is real time but he’s still unbelievable

I come back to this every few years and double-check to make sure it’s still true.

Nailed it: Evan Miyakawa’s podcast at the 2’ mark lol.

This is the future @haney wants for cbb

(Seems like a nice way to honor their institutions and beliefs at a fun event, also probably helps Marquette’s attendance which I assume is struggling atm. Religious ceremony as crowd draw, only in college basketball!)

Love the fish fry meal deal. :fish:

This freshwater fish sandwich is elite and it’s back on the menu:

Culver’s offers a cod sandwich and dinner year-round, then adds an additional fried fish sandwich and dinner during the Lenten season. The Northwoods Walleye Sandwich and Dinner are officially back on menus, and are starting to roll out at participating locations all across the country—and fans are already getting excited.

One man’s truth:

Mid-west Culver’s > GA Chick-fil-a > Culver’s anywhere else > Arby’s (happy, you psychopaths?!) > Chick-fil-a anywhere else

Culver’s is opening a location over by Richmond airport.

I spent some years in Wisconsin and never understood the Culver’s hype.

I do remember when the first Chick Fil A came to Madison. None of the Midwest people understood that hype either.

There is a Culver’s very close to where my mother-in-law used to live in Savannah. It was the perfect/easy place to take her for lunch, but there’s nothing on the menu that any of us wanted to eat and we’re not hard to please. I hope we get the Midwestern version of Culver’s in Richmond.

Have Culver’s by us here in NC last 2 years… burgers are very very meh - like how do you not season your burgers??? … but the spicy chicken sandwich is a surprise - one of the better ones anywhere.
The grilled Reuben melt will do and I need to try the beef pot roast sandwich.

I’m glad it’s on that side of town. Close enough to have occasionally but not close enough that I’d be tempted to go weekly. Love Culver’s.

Back to Hoops. Still Midwest (sort of).

ACC has gone 11-3 against the Big 10 this year. That includes Wake’s 1 point loss to Michigan and Notre Dame’s one point loss to Ohio State.

Pitt has the same number of Big 10 wins, as they do ACC wins (2).

Here are the numbers per conference for the last three NCAAT combined:

ACC = 24-14 = 63% winning percentage.

BIG12 = 30-22 = 58%

SEC = 39-28 = 58%

BIG10 = 29-22 = 57%

It’s pretty close, but ACC leads.
