Saunders being done for the season at BYU really puts a spotlight on their roster construction. Did they end up so thin because all the money went to Dybantsa and Wright III? I guess they also had some bad luck with Dawson Baker getting injured. But even so, I think Evan Miya had their roster rank really really low at the start of the season

I mean, Michigan is number one on KenPom, Barrtorvik, and EvanMiya by wide margins and they are blowing the doors off Purdue tonight.
Yeah, any team can lose on a given night during a single elimination tournament, but I’ll gladly let someone else try to figure Michigan out.

I watched it and I thought he looked a little bit improved but basically the same old Blake… struggled to rebound and missed free throws. Also got blocked a few times. He did have better body control.

I’m a BBB (Biased Blake Basher) but also watched him and wasn’t really impressed.
He has more freedom on defense and in offense. That seemed to be the biggest difference.

Six ranked teams dropped games to unranked opponents on the road last night. I think they were all Q1, with exception of SLU losing to Rhode Island.
Texas Tech and Nebraska losing good for us in terms of trying to catch them in the seeding.

Seems like it was non-contact knee injury but the angle is tough to tell for sure.
Totally agree. Buzz is your weird neighbor who you see around and after talking to him, you say to yourself “that guy is strange”. Mick is the guy in the neighborhood you avoid at all costs.

When I see stuff other coaches do, it’s crazy the contrast between someone like this, or Buzz, or Tang and then what we were able to have here with Tony for so many years. Always a professional in every sense and then even more.
