Grant Billmeier doing a good job at NJIT. Played Jersey HS prep school hoops —> Seton Hall during the Louis Orr and Bobby Gonzalez (briefly an assistant here) years. Then coached at Seton Hall under Willard. I think

The whole time I’m watching Jacari play with these kids, I’m thinking “hey, man protect that wrist” and it ruins what should be video of a heartwarming day of fun for these kids.

I don’t remember exactly when it was, but in the last post game presser Jacari did, he specifically said a week and a half. I thought it was a little amusing because every time Odom is asked, he gives a non-committal “couple of weeks”, including after Jacari gave a specific answer.

I think he’ll be a good candidate for an Exhibit 10 deal next season and then maybe a 2 way the season after if he shows well in summer league. His defense is NBA level for sure, but he’s got to prove that a team can’t hide Trae Young on him without repercussion.

Since the Carolina game, the defense has allowed 30+ second-half points just once (34, BC) and has eight 2H stretches of three or more minutes without a point allowed:
