If Blake tried that move Johann pulled he’d trip into John Grisham.
It’s refreshing to (seemingly based on practice videos) have true bigs that aren’t 10 pounds and have some coordination/skill.
Kadin, you’re 6’11" and you weigh 90 pounds. Gumby has a better body than you. Boom. Roasted

So far in these videos I think Chance looks the most comfortable of all the guys and the smoothest. Other guys kinda look like they are “getting back into it” for me
Also the BYU kid, Dallin, looks real comfortable I think
Chance also looks freaking huge. Fullback status. Wonder if they get him to slim a bit for the season or at his height the positive of the mass had outweighs (ha) the negative.
Assume he “slims” down some but not sure he needs to. We all lost 5-10 pounds during the season. So hard to keep weight on
I put on 5-10 pounds during the season.
That was also back when NCAA rules wouldn’t allow you to have cream cheese on your bagels lol. Now these kids get fed as much as they want or need.
I noticed that as well. Super confident and in command. Seems to have the leadership presence.
I remember (long time ago) we went to play Navy in Annapolis. They fed us this too-big pre-game meal. Then they finished up by bringing out a huge dish of ice cream. Coach McCann, the nicest human alive, stood up and said, “Boys, only eat half of that”. Our captain, Tony Lacquintano, kind of smirked and said sarcastically under his breath,“Sure”. I think we won anyway.
I’m usually 15-20. Stress eater over here. Probably gained 25 lbs the weekend of UMBC

That photo (and same play from other angles) is probably my most favorite of the Bennett era. Three guys blocking the same shot. Typifies how athletic we were and how smothering our defense was.
Your captain Tony was not afraid to shoot it looks like. 23.6 attempts per game 1961-62 season
Fantastic
Last season’s FGA leader was only at 17 attempts per game, and in 1961-62 the leader was at 27 per game. Teams as a whole had about 9 more attempts per game that season than they do now. I’ve always been curious about stylistic differences like that between eras.
