Even Arroyo didn’t really live up to his lofty expectations despite still having a solid season. From how he was hyped up and based on the way he played in fall ball I thought he’d be 1st or 2nd team All-ACC.

Q: Are there exceptions to roster limits?
A: Yes, a student-athlete may be identified as a “Designated Student-Athlete” and be exempt from roster limits.
Q: Why would an individual be identified as a “Designated Student-Athlete”?
A: A current or incoming student-athlete may be identified as a “Designated Student-Athlete”, if they were
removed from the roster, or would’ve been removed, for the 2025-26 academic year, due to the implementation
of roster limits.
Q: When does an individual have to be identified as a “Designated Student-Athlete”?
A: Each institution must identify each “Designated Student-Athlete” within 30-days of June 6, 2025.

Massive jump for Stroman, he moves up 122 spots and into the top 100. Becker keeps his spot in the top 50, again we’re just gonna have to hope he really wants to play a season with Eric. Those are two we’ll definitely be sweating out on both draft days, along with the outside chances of Yoder and Paone.

Yeah Paone is also ranked 134th on MLB.com’s prospect rankings, though I don’t think he had the best spring which may end up working in our favor. He’s really talented and someone I would expect to contribute immediately.
No idea on Blanco. Hasn’t committed anywhere else yet to my knowledge.

He had zero pro future as a QB. He made the right choice going with baseball.

Agree. He’ll get drafted for sure, but in the teens rounds for a nominal bonus. His FB/slider mix is good for a pen guy if he gets his velo back up to high 90s FB high 80s slider. Maybe his command issues get fixed with shorter pitching stints.
