What do we have to see from Elliott this year to justify keeping him as head coach? Wins and bowl game would be nice, but beyond a winning record against an extremely weak schedule … what do you need to see to keep him around?
Maybe a little too basic, but I’d appreciate a positional breakdown. Likely starters at each position. Where they’re from. What to expect in terms of play style.
Like, I think our QB is named Chandler Morris and he went to a few different schools and his dad coached with Elliott back in the day and he played in the air raid last year.
I listened to some podcast and they said we have a big, tall pass rusher transfer named Fisher K-mack.
Speaking personally, I’m still at that level of understanding here…
I was thinking of doing a twitter thread like this (if I get a few minutes away from the screaming children on vacation). I think it’s a good idea in any format because I don’t think many people (fans and outsiders) are very familiar with the guys on the roster.
Fabulous and enjoyable show. I’m pretty new here so nice to hear from Josh and Dragon. Good stuff. I already know Jaq, who is aces.
Maybe I’ve said this before, but CC is going to have to stop us from running the ball which means that a disciplined and accurate QB with vision can RPO them. It doesn’t have to be shot plays, either. Move the chains, control the clock, wear them down. Get a nice lead and substitute a lot. Don’t worry about a gaudy score, but focus on keeping their offense off the field. Time of possession.
