AZ former coach who was a former player there just left and on the way out the door she posted on a fan FB group that AZ was not committed to women’s basketball. She was the lowest paid coach at the the time when she was hired, they had the lowest NIL in the P4 and showed no signs of investing.
So I guess the checks do clear they are just for small ammounts.

Playing time opportunities seem to be the most likely factor for Kitchen, right? AZ has like 4 total players on their roster right now, including her. Here we have a lot of perimeter players in front of her (factoring in Jillian Brown coming back too).

I’m sure it played into her descision. AZ is starting from scratch there should be loads of minutes available.

Yeah I don’t think there was ever any question about Kymora staying, but it’s still nice to get the announcement and put any doubts to rest.
