Big step up for Yeager, who barely played last year.
Damn, now I’m ready for first pitch.

We got a lineup.
For those who can’t open twitter it’s:
Biggest surprise to me is the first year O’Connell at C. He was a very highly touted prospect out of HS, but from what I heard Weatherspoon had a great fall and the press leading up to the season made me believe he would start. Wonder if it’s an inury or if he got beat out straight up. Also good news that Tiroly’s injury isn’t keeping him out of the lineup, seems like it’s just the field for now.
Just checked and it looks like it’s an injury for Weatherspoon.
Zatkowski works out of a bases loaded jam in the top of the 1st to put up our first empty frame of the season.
1-0 HOOS in the bottom of the 1st as AJ Gracia’s first AB as a Wahoo leads to his first hit and first RBI. Still one out, nobody out in the inning.
4-0 HOOS in the bottom of the 1st, couple of Wagner errors at 2nd have allowed this inning to continue. Still two on and one down in the inning.
4-1 HOOS top of the 2nd, Wagner gets a run across and still has bases loaded with no outs. Zatkowski really struggling with command.
Make that 4-3 HOOS, next pitch is a base hit that drives in two more for Wagner.
Brutal inning for Z. 5-4 Wagner, 2 outs
I expect us to put some more runs up, but this is gonna be an early bullpen day. Zatkowski struggling and already up past 60 pitches through 2.
Game tied at 5 now in the bottom of the 4th after a Sam Harris RBI two out RBI single.
6-5 HOOS retake the lead in the bottom of the 5th after a Zach Jackson two out RBI single. Still have two on and two outs in the inning.
Game tied at 6 in the top of the 6th after Noah Murray boots a grounder that would have ended the frame.
Ugh
Wagner retakes the lead 7-6 in the top of the 6th after a two out RBI double. We should have been out of this frame already. Still two on and two out for Wagner.
That was a disappointing error.
