⚾ 2026 In-Season UVA Baseball Thread

I could get used to radio announcers calling it a Jouras Jack.

HOOS up 7-0 after 3.

HOOS up 7-5 now heading to the bottom of the 4th. Oschell came in for Stammel and struggled heavily, Jaxel relieved him but not before another bad error by Murray at 2nd allowed an unnecessary run to come across.

Well it’s now 17-5 HOOS in the bottom of the 5th lol. We’ve scored ten runs on two hits so far this inning, Wagner pitchers can’t find the zone and that’s putting it very politely.

Becker and Jouras with the only hits this frame?

Correct. Ten runs on two hits, six walks, two HBP’s, two errors, a balk, and a bunch of wild pitches.

HOOS up 18-6 in the bottom of the 6th as Will Mahala goes yard in his first career AB.

Poor Thomas Stewart gave up a solo HR on his first career pitch earlier in the inning, he settled in after that though.

Bad New Bears, pre-Kelly.

HOOS up 21-10 in the 7th.

Beau Pribula with two TD’s, one passing one rushing and Kam Robinson has two sacks.

UVA will look to sweep the weekend here in about 45 minutes.

Just got home. Wagner leading 6-5 in the 3rd.

Been a less than stellar start on the mound for us to open the season.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this… Wagner LF dropped a fairly routine fly ball then the RF dropped a very routine fly ball, Hoos lead 7-6 in the 3rd

Now 8-6 off a Becker RBI single straight back up the middle, Wagner switching pitchers.

They’ve dropped multiple fly balls this weekend. Wagner can hit, anything else baseball related is a struggle though lol.

HOOS up 8-6 now in the bottom of the 3rd. Pitching change for the Seahawks.

I just noticed, when did we add netting all the way down the line?

HOOS up 17-6 now in the bottom of the 4th. Another pitching change for the Seahawks, we still have the bases loaded with two outs.

Wagner has to be close to running out of pitchers.
