šŸˆ 23/24 College Bowl Season

Alright if Michigan wants to shut it down and take this to the house I’ll be a happy man

ACC refs allowing Michigan to get away with blatant holds on three big plays, but whistling Washington for a less blatant one on a huge play — typical for the refs from our conference. Consistently inconsistent, but making sure someone gets boned.

Really happy for Harbaugh. No one this year overcome as much as he did. Really shows you how at the end of the day the underdog still comes out on top.

Disney like ending, one would say.

I barely pay attention to football, and I could google, but I’m lazy…whatever happened with the Connor Stalions thing? Was it ever 100% him?

The most impressive part about tonight is it wraps up one of the all time great gambling heaters ever. Looks like Michigan ML and under 56.5 are safe.

Damn’t Hoos gonna be too mediocre to even make this bowl?

Also I have to imagine imagine the game day experience for that game has to be out of this world cause the Vandy/Akron fanbase ain’t traveling

There’s no way that’ll be a real thing right? Pretty funny idea though.

It can’t be done due to the rules correct? You have to have a .500 or higher record unless they can’t fill all the bowls… so they couldn’t even invite them without a rule change…

Who’s traveling to see if their team can be the worst at something? And call it the Mr. Irrelevant Toilet Bowl.

@jazznutUVA I don’t think there’s an official rule on who can and can’t go to a bowl it’s more of a gentlemen’s agreement. I can think of once or twice a sub .500 team made there way to a bowl game but don’t recall if there were special circumstances behind it.

@Serum114 that’s why I say you have to incentivize it to make it appealing to get fans to go. Stick it out in Sam Houston Stadium (Vegas) In the weekend before the Nati and make a weekend out of it. Or send it someplace where fans can make an event out of it and you have a shot to sell a few tickets. It can’t be any less appealing than these teams going to Birmingham and Tupelo to play in bowl games.
