Not surprising that the deeper we get into the bowl season with more familiar teams and information the better my picks have become.

Alright we made it to the main course of the college football season the CFP. And here are Dragon’s picks for those who care.
Rose Bowl
Michigan vs Bama Under 45
This game is almost a pick-em with the Wolverines favored by 1.5. The majority of bettors think Bama rolls on this one and I’m a bit surprised to see them not favored based off some talk I’ve heard. That said I think these teams match up well agaisnt one another. I also have been trained to generally be leery of betting against Saban when he has 4 weeks to prepare for an opponent.
I’m not a fan of either teams offense in this one. Michigan’s offense was dorment when playing elite competition in OSU PSU and Iowa. Their oline play has detoriated and they still arent healthy. For Bama their offense improved as the season wore on but no one at their skill positions scares you and they can beat pushed around in the trenches
UNDER 45
Sugar Bowl
Texas -4 vs Washington OVER 63.5
The Longhorns are the most underrated team in this field. Most, myself included left them for dead after the Red River disaster. However, despite that Texas has the most well balanced team and by far the most balanced offense in the tournament.
What Michael Penix Jr. Has done for Washington is amazing and I’m glad the young man has been able to shine in the national spotlight. I fully expect him to go down slinging tomorrow night. The problem is the Huskies defense will not be able to up their end of the deal with the Longhorns offense blitzing them early and setting the pace for a high scoring affair.

I think Bama rolls over Michigan, something like 27-10. Have an ominous feeling that the SEC title game was the national championship in disguise.
