I wouldnāt be surprised if youāre right. Iāve heard and seen just enough to think maybe Michigan keeps it close. But Iām not willing to bite. I do think the game is low scoring and controlled as both teams take the air out of the ball and control tempo
On the bright side, no more whining from FSU about how big a crime it was they were excluded.

Anybody know why there were THAT many FSU opt outs? Surely they donāt have that many draft picks. Just pissed off? Some to portal?

Weāll see if Texas can generate enough pass rush to cover up deficiencies in the defensive backfield. Iām not too worried about Texas jumping out to a big lead in this one. They did that against Kansas State and TCU also, and were fortunate to hang and win those games.
I had forgotten that Texas and Washington played last year in the Alamo Bowl. 27-20 Huskies.
I really donāt know what to expect with Michigan and Alabama. Michigan is consistent and boring. Itās Bama that is hot and cold this year - not just from game to game but from half to half. The Tide has given up 20 points to just about everyone this year except Ole Miss. If Michigan gets 21 and Saban gets the win, thatās awfully close to the over. Itās a good line.

FsU has always had a high attrition in bowl games similar to Miami. Most of the defense and wrs are nfl eligible and ready to go. The would be starting qb opted to transfer toss in a few more transfers and youāre in trouble.
FSU was never deep so it doesnāt take too many guys missing to cause things to go off the rails.
Conversely UGa kept most of their guys in and they were ready to prove a point

Not wrong the only caviot would be Wisconsin plays basically every week at noon so they are used to it.
Doesnāt help that on game day the band parades aroins the dorms playing music starting at 9am. Awful way to wake up after a night out

How many stars opted out? I understand Iowa had a good defense this year but their offense was paleozoic.

Not sure about transfers or opt outs for Iowa. They look about the same that Iāve seen all season. Terrible offense that is without their OC. And the Iowa defense is not built to handle the spread or tempo and thatās being exposed. Iowa could be the biggest loser of B1G expansion

Yea bama has dropped to a 2pt dog thats a half point added in from yesterday.
After the larger public spent most of Dec pounding bama thereās been a recent rush of money moving the opposite way.
This is one of those games where I feel like youāre at Vegasā mercy and I generally hate that
