The amount of return men who try to field the ball within the 5 yard line is insane nowadays. That should be an immediate fair catch wave and get the hell out of the way.

I was thinking that. Conventional teaching is heels on the 10 and never go backwards. And he was waiving fair catch too so even with a catch UM had 60ish yards to get in FG range

I think Harbaugh called the TO before the play was snapped, but it didn’t register quick enough. Must’ve not liked what he saw with how the offense lined up or something.
