I’ve barely watched today but that’s my one gripe with this VCU team. They’re always frantic, borderline out of control, sped up in the halfcourt just for the sake of it…I assume that’s purposeful to keep the game uncomfortable. But it gets rough at times.

Not actually a fast “paced” team though. like 200+ for those into that sorta thing. It just feels fast because of the style.

to be fair we also have empty possessions, it just involves 30 seconds and Buchanan and Dunn catching the ball at the 3pt line wide open as non shooters standing there while everyone runs around in a circle

I think it also ties into this VCU team not having a real true pg. So there isn’t an established playmaker with vision like Steve Ashworth at Utah St or those two short guys at UMBC

I wont argue with you that VCU’s guards are stupid. But it makes it even more incredible that they are this successful LOL
