Heard an interesting morning discuss/debater about Football and Basketball scheduling on the Sirius ACC network. Should ACC teams play away games in state against lesser (?) conference teams?
Should UNC go to Boone? Should VT go to ODU? Should Georgia Tech go to Georgia State? Should UVA have gone to JMU for a basketball game?
In our part of the nation, many NAIA schools and Div II schools have grown up to be major powers.
But, I never expect to see Alabama travel to Troy or Texas travel to SMU or Rice.
Is the ACC making a mistake by scheduling games with SunBelt and other conferences?
