Can we not talk about chaminade?
Talks he might just go back to Real Madrid for the year. Would suck for FSU.

Whose gonna be the first ACC team to lose a game?
- UVA
- UNC
- Duke
- NC State
- Wake Forest
- Clemson
- Florida State
- Miami
- Pittsburgh
- Notre Dame
- Syracuse
- Boston College
- Louisville
- Georgia Tech
- Virginia Tech
Sadly he should. He was already robbed of 3k. Go make money in this instance
Tough one. I think it’ll be either Clemson to South Carolina or Pitt to WVU, but both games are on 11/11 and start at 7 pm. I don’t think Clemson is likely to be good, but I think Pitt could be awful. On the other hand, Pitt gets WVU at home while Clemson is on the road so I’m not even 100% sure who’s more likely to lose.
KenPom says Clemson is more likely to lose, but I think he’s underrating how bad Pitt will be.
Ok, I’ll go with Pitt.
Edit - UVA seems like an obvious pick with Baylor on the 18th and the ACC being a little better this year. But a lot of teams have decent challenges fairly early and I suspect UVA will be the 5th or 6th ACC team to lose.
Edit2 - I think each ACC team’s first loss will be (ties broken by game start time, obviously):
Pitt - WVU - 11/11
Clemson - South Carolina - 11/11
Louisville - Appy State - 11/15 (maybe an overreaction, but I can’t sell these guys hard enough)
Duke - Kansas - 11/15
UVA - Baylor - 11/18
GT - Utah - 11/21
NC State - Kansas - 11/23
ND - St Bonny - 11/25
Miami - UCF - 11/27
Cuse - Illinois - 11/29
Wake - Wiscy - 11/29
FSU - Purdue - 11/30 (I’m still buying these guys)
UNC - Indiana - 11/30
BC - Duke - 12/3
VT - UNC - 12/4
Ok, I was just kinda guesstimating UVA being the 5th or 6th to lose and it looks like I was pretty close. I think we’ll be the 5th ACC team to lose. Sucks that I think VT will be the last ACC team to lose, but that’s what a spongy-soft OOC schedule buys you, plus I don’t think they’ll be bad.
My pick was Louisville cause I think they lose their opener vs Bellarmine.
I think it’s probably Pitt, but FSU is a dark-horse candidate with an 11/11 true road game against UCF.
The Baba Miller thing really pisses me off. If the NCAA wants to be a destination for kids trying to get better at hoops, including from overseas, it needs to let them actually play.
