I assume if Wake whiffs on their Duke, VT, and Clemson opportunities, they have no hope for an at large. But do they get in with only beating Clemson (and winning their non-Q1 games)? Clemson is at home and is a Q1 game as of now. That would put them at 1-7 in Q1 games, which is a little rough for a resume. I guess their home Florida win could end up being a Q1 win too.
With a good NET I think they could
They’re going to be the poster-boy for “good enough team with a bad resume” that will tell us a bit about what the selection committee is valuing.

Miami would be the most disappointing team in the country if it wasn’t for Arkansas. They seemed to have pretty much quit now.

I haven’t kept up with the draft projections…before the season, Proctor was a first round pick almost sure to leave. McCain was kind of fringe. Maybe they’ve changed places now…quick look at the first mock in a google search from bleacher report, McCain is 28, Proctor 45. Anyway, they’ll want 2 back between Roach, Proctor, McCain, and Foster. I don’t think Roach intends to, but circumstances (cough $$) could change.
