They’re going to be really bad next year too and rumor from Trilly is Pedulla is likely going to transfer. Could get ugly

There’s been some chatter that he might leave Tech and move back down to the mid major level.

Hinson 0-4 from 3 at 7:05 2nd half at Clemson. Natch

We want Pitt to lose I remember seeing but can’t remember why

Man reason is tie breaker scenarios with Pitt involved we lose in the standings.

Our double-bye chances almost entirely depend on this game (if we can go 2-1…also assuming Pitt goes 3-0 after this)

Pitt has @ BC, FSU, NCSU after this. If they also win this game, we’d likely have to win out to finish top 4

Yeah if Clemson hangs on and we win tomorrow we are in good shape for the double bye

Burton is so good.

Burton is what I was hoping Harris would be.

Lee Cassell Doing his best, Thomas Edison, impression in officiating the Florida State versus North Carolina State game. I don’t know whether to feel better or worse that he is just as bad in other games.
I was told early in my officiating career that you can’t trust the playcalling of any guys who are too muscular as they try to lift weights to offset the perception of how bad their calls are.
In the NBA if you wanna look out for them, James Williams, Marc Davis and Curtis Blair are examples

Well tonight went perfectly for getting a double bye

You’re right, there’s actually a somewhat realistic chance of getting a double bye even with a 1-2 record down the stretch now

Weird experience attending a game there. Before we moved back to VA, FSU was the closest ACC school to us for a few years.

In 2018, we got tickets like 3 rows behind the UVa bench for way less than anything you could have gotten in JPJ at that time, for an ACC game. And there was a decent crowd that night…the vibe you picked up in the arena was they cared way more about football than hoops. We won a close one, and their folks didn’t really seem all that upset leaving. I even remember an FSU fan running up to us after the game to tell me Villanova (who was #1) lost that night, and I’m pretty sure we were 2 or 3 at the time, and he was genuinely excited that we might jump to 1.

I was watching a Duke game last month. Flip fed Power the ball, and Power proceeded to miss a close-in shot. The camera followed Flip up the court, who was mouthing “You gotta make that shot!” Very constructive critism, douche.

He needed to make that dunk in JPJ. Or any of his shots that night for that matter.

I can’t believe he tweeted this out. This is his job! The entitlement: “please educate me.” Good lord man. We got people on this board that know so much more about hoops than this jabroni.

If you watch these NET changes daily like I do it is obvious if you go on the road and beat a mediocre to kind of bad team by 20-30 or beat down a bad team at home by 40 it does cause bigger rises than close wins over good teams especially if at home. A close win on the road over a good team can produce a good bump too.
