We are ranked in the 60ās ? I donāt know how good will be but if the pieces gel I think we will surprise some people. My prediction is we make it to the top 25. Going to be fun
The roster construction suggests another bad offense depending on lineup
Pretty sure we started last preseason in the 40sā¦ā¦pretty much where we ended up finishing. As Norfolk said, our offense is going to need to take some major leaps to be top 40 again. Reece and Ryan aināt here to save us on the back end.

Yeah, to me the guard rotation is the huge question mark. While the front court is also pretty unknown, I feel solid about the pieces we have there and that we can figure out some sort of good combos at the 3-4-5. Itās the 1-2 that seems more likely to me to determine our ceiling.
If Bliss comes out on fire nailing threes and contributing, or if Ames takes a big leap shooting, or if Warley just is a super crafty aggressive veteran who can reliably get to the rack, maybe we have something. If none of them find their shot this year and canāt reliably generate offense leaving McKneely as again the only guy other teams have to really key in on, it could be rough.

Yea, you are right. Losing those 2 hurts very bad. Defenders like those 2 are rare. I guess we will be lower than i thought. The stocks those 2 had were a big reason we won a lot of games . Warley is a good defender and Iām think Ames will be but I donāt know about the rest of them. Saunders ? Damn now Iām depressed

Iām a degenerate so Iāll be watching lol. Saw an interview with Kelsey where the team they are playing is kind of like an all-star team from the Bahamas. UNCW beat em 109-107 in an earlier exhibition, so they arenāt atrocious. Never too early to scout the rest of the ACC!

Koren Johnson was the pac-12 6th man of the year and woulda been our starting pg, so you telling me he went to Louisville to be Chucky Hepburnās (Wisconsin pg transfer) backup?
My only take away from this so far (watched 10 minutes) is that this Bahamas team would have lost to a Kenny Payne coached team by 20 and that they will probably go 4 out/really dependent in the half court on Chuckyās playmaking. Intrigued to see what their offense looks like in the half court when Warley is on Hepburn/Koren.
edit: I will throw in my mini rant and say I wish UVA basketball cared about itās fans like Louisville though. It would be dope to see this or actual clips of actual drills being run instead of 30 second slow mow edits where its mostly just standing around. Or something like what duke did with each player getting an Instagram post showing actual real time clips of half court sets.

Not watching so didnāt see lineups but my expectation was that Koren and Chucky would start together.
They went Hepburn Traore and that JMU wing on the perimeter. Of course its just a summer scrimmage
