Always a bummer to miss out on warm weather winter places like Toledo and the Bronx.

Who doesn’t want to go to Toledo in the winter?

Bunch of St. Johns Jesuit alumni sitting around the Commander Magic the Gathering league talking about the time the drove up to Windsor when they were 18 and “went so hard at the casino” while staying 6 to a room at the Howard Johnson with the Heart shaped hot tub and they made their fried Bob cry at the blackjack table while sipping Labatt’s.

Don’t worry, the way Elliott is going to crush the Portal, we’ll be the best team in the Ivy League next year, FCS playoffs here we come!

I’d be okay with that.

This is the way

Not a Bowl game, but thought Air Force catching a stray in this video was funny.

Yeah… Air Force definitely having a down year… but historically Air Force does very well in this rivalry… unlike UVa against Tech. LOL!

Records since Commander in Chief’s Trophy established (1972)

Team Trophies Last W L T Pct.
Air Force 21 2022 66 40 0 .623
Navy 16 2019 53 51 1 .510
Army 10 2023 38 66 1 .367
  • Five shared trophies, last in 2021
  • Only tie was in 1981 (Army–Navy, 3–3)
  • Overtime for Division I-A regular season introduced in 1996
    • Five OT games, three between Navy (2–1) and Air Force, one between Army (1–0) and Air Force, and one between Army (1–0) and Navy.

Will Space Force eventually have its own academy or will it be analogous to Marines:Navy and Space Force:Air Force?

The Air Force Academy is running just like the Naval Academy… where up to 100 Space Force option cadets will commission into the Space Force upon graduation.

There is a Space Force liaison Colonel who works at USAFA for this purpose.

That’s really messed up for the Marshall players who aren’t transferring out and yet now are missing out on their bowl game. (I understand why they have to opt out, but it still sucks.)

yeah…if it was just some 6-6 team, I wouldn’t care. Too many garbage bowls anyway. But Marshall won their conference, and they’re playing another conference champ. Sad

So there are not many 5-7 teams with higher APR than us…

Never mind. La tech it is

This seems like a good thread to hijack for a random question for the board…

I currently have YouTube Tv (YTTV). I’m considering switching over to Hulu + Live. Money isn’t really a major issue, but with the price of YTTV going up AGAIN next month, I can save money on my services by switching to Hulu + Live tv bundled with the Disney/hulu stuff. Save like $10 maybe $15 a month this way…

To anyone who has tried out Hulu+Live, how was it? Anything I’d really be missing from YTTV? I’ve spoken on here before about how much I like YTTV, but I also don’t like spending unnecessary money…

And all of them above La Tech, including us, turned down the bowl bid.

I mean, I understand why we did. We haven’t practiced since Thanksgiving. The semester’s out, guys are mostly at home for the break. Game’s in 2 weeks. And it’s in Shreveport, Louisiana. And we’d have to play Army and that triple option offense.

But we could say we went to a bowl game this year.
