One thing in our favor is most of players could care less about the history given they are transfers from somewhere else. Our guys will be positive, focused, and ready to rumble.

Mitchell Melton was on this week’s Hoos On Podcast and was complaining about losing to Michigan. And then he says “and I just found out we’ve lost 19 of 20 to tech. That’s just appalling.” The way he matter of factly says it with disgust was hilarious to me. These guys barely know who tech is. They aren’t going to crap their pants at the first sign of trouble.

UNC/Duke only technically matters if us and SMU lose next week but in that scenario yes.
Might matter for vibes because we might need UNC/Duke to win next week and a UNC win would make both 5-6
