🏈 ACC Football: Week 2 - 2024

They benched Stone super early into their first game as well. Seem to have no confidence in him despite putting up great numbers last year.

The backup can run a little bit but is pretty unimpressive.

Everybody kept telling me SMU was a sure loss when I was saying they’d struggle their first year in a P4 conference.

I really thought they’d be much better than they’ve been. Had lots of returning talent on both sides.

It’s crazy the bad football games you’ll watch with only a small bet. Go Duke +2.5.

Dook’s defense looks pretty stout. Dook’s offense looks pretty dogshit.

Seems like Duke is the better team but they keep tripping themselves. Another dropped INT as I type.

I definitely thought the Under was going to be safe on this one.

Vegas had the under as low as 37.5. They saw this coming.

SMU’s seeming implosion through 3 weeks is surprising to me. There were some who thought Stone may be one of the most impactful returning QB’s in the country. They brought back something like 13 starters from last years team between offense and Defense. I know the step up in competition would be hard, but they are struggling against the same group of others they would have played if they hadn’t gone to the ACC.

Syracuse beats GT 31-28, McCord looked great and Cuse has a lot of weapons at WR.

ACC is wiiiiiiide open this year.

Honestly I’m at peace with the ACC-blows-at-football narrative, because it’s just true. I will enjoy ACC sports for however long the conference remains intact. Its long-term reputation is no longer relevant to me.

VT starting off very slow on offense once again. Too bad Marshall hasn’t been able to take advantage so far.
