I was just googling Schertz to figure out his geographic background. Long story short, born in Brooklyn, moved out to Montauk at age 3, and was itinerant after that. Graduated from FAU and there’s a Dave Odom connection.
Here’s the part that I find mildly amusing. He was the #1 tennis player at his age at 12 years old.
If this guy told me that, I’d have been like, yeah, bro. Samesies. I was the #1 backyard QB at age 9. All downhill after that.
