NC State takes on Seton Hall, who is undefeated but lowest ranked team by Torvik in the Big East. Shouldn’t root for an upset but wouldn’t mind it.
Notre Dame v Kansas. ND not great but did take Ohio State down to the last possession. And no Peterson.
Cuse v Houston. Seems like a couple of injuries potentially for the Orange (Betsey, Freeman) that haven’t been made official. Tall odds but Houston hasn’t been sharp offensively and so maybe there’s a world where Starling shoots lights out to keep the Orange in it.
Damn. Shah / the Hall up by 16 in Maui, over NC State. 15:18 2H
These are the moments I hate not being independently wealthy. I was born to be watching this game while gawking at Pack Pride. Not working in the salt mines (or on my computer or whatever).
Just when I thought the Big East would be the worst power conference, us, Clemson, and now maybe NC State take losses to meh or in Seton Hall’s case bad Big East teams.
Man Seton Hall’s defense is impressive. They have lateral quickness to shut off driving lanes, active hands, shot blockers in the paint, length, and they close out as well as any team I’ve seen in recent memory. Fun to watch
Dawg conversations on ESPN. We are back. Also lol at Seton Hall’s NIL budget of $2 million can’t even buy 1 full De Ridder (does go back to my debate with @HoozGotNext that we don’t actually have $14 million in talent, moreso that we had to overpay to assemble the roster in the first place after last year’s dumpster fire and not much to build with. Also excited once the year is over to see the staff spend whatever budget they have moreso to the playstyle they envision wanting to play at UVA with a year under their belt. Cause wanting to play fast in transition and then spending solely on guards who don’t really defend or force turnovers is interesting but I love the dynamic offense at times).
LMAO Seth Greensberg gassing Odom up hard in the studio post NC State/Seton Hall and then throws in a quick muffled “They could improve some defensively”.
