Maybe a controversial take: Kyle Getterās impact is very overrated and was a part of the misevaluation era.
The kids associated with him were mostly Tony Bennett kids. Maybe Isaac Traudt was the only real Getter kid we landed

ND taking Rutgers to OT without Burton is a good sign for them (assuming Burton is not seriously injured). Allocco is having quite the season so far (told ya he was going to be good there). Their reward for a hard fought loss is to play a prototypically tough Houston team that is probably mad after losing another close top-ten matchup.
Though, Rutgers has looked not great in several of their games, especially relative to expectations.

A tactical blunder for sure. Theyād certainly be a better team if they could have kept some key pieces from last years squad. Young is a good candidate for pulling a āTonyā and retire. His system also requires a multi year commitment from players.

They also killed their WBB program which was actually nationally relevant and may have been their best chance at a national championship in any sport. All for a chance at, at best if they were lucky, 2 more wins a season in football.
