🏀 ACC Men's Basketball - Week 4: 25 November - 1 December 2024

Florida looking pretty pedestrian vs Wake Forest. They have size but nowhere near as physical or intense as Tenn/St Johns.

Yeah these two teams are ok.

Tenn / St Johns are 2nd weekend type teams.

Yeah the margins in the Bahamas were every bit as much about how good the opponents were as they were about how bad we were.

Tennessee maybe, but St John’s is just a solid team. They turned around and got beat by a mediocre Georgia team. Most of it was how bad we are

NC State also giving Purdue all it can handle.

Duke UNC Pitt Louisville and NC State are the top 5 ACC teams I think.

Wake Forest when they get Omaha Billew back and Notre Dame when they get Markus Burton back are also up there with Stanford and Cal as interesting teams

Why is Georgia mediocre? Based on past history?

WF and NC State both let up in the 2nd half.

ACC is garbage narrative lives on

We might be better than Wake. They have serious issues.

Plenty of teams in the ACC that we can be competitive with. I have been a defender of the conference but two thirds of the teams are Very weak this year.

Wake is not very scary on offense now that they are playing two non-shooters in the frontcourt (they’ve gotten Spillers to take and make some 3s, but don’t think he does it frequently enough to provide real spacing).

Wow Pitt taking down Ohio State in Columbus.

Good game between Louisville and Oklahoma so far.

Louisville has the better talent and a roster that probably costs more than Oklahoma spends on its entire bball program, but Oklahoma is just so much better coached than Louisville on both ends. It’s beautiful.

If Oklahoma can make the tournament, Moser is the coach Im watching. Only 2 million a year and until 2027 contract.

Watching now. Legit players

Better athletes and more competitive than our roster. Size and aggression and speed- it’s impressive.

If our athletic department was proactive they would be reaching out to coaches like Porter and others Im unaware of and telling them to hold off on any contract extensions to keep our pool of candidates more open if Sanchez doesn’t get the job

2 teams with essentially new rosters as well. Would love to see our guys all hang around figure it out and be playing at the level these 2 teams have this week but they’re also both proof of how quickly a rebuild can take place.

I think Louisville paid over $1 million for Chucky Hepburn. Money’s worth, the kid is a dog

Kelsey with the blow by handshake and Moser just looks back like wtf just happened lol.
