The Life Wallet guy got exposed for the fraud he was about 2 yrs ago and all those NIL deals fell apart. At least some of those 8 wjo left after the Final Four dk

Itâs a big part of the issue with Miami athletics currently and hurt their rep out of the gate.

Larranagaâs George Mason final 4 team is still one of my favorites. People forgot about them some after VCU and Loyola did it. But that Mason team was the best of the lot. They ran through Michigan State, UNC, and the UConn team everybody thought would win it all. it wasnât just some hot shooting run or a favorable bracket. They were a legit great team.
He was one of if not the best good team coach ever, especially in March. Always inconsistent year to year, could easily bust, but when it did come together he knew how to push the right buttons and get the most of them maybe better than anybody.

Thst Final 4 was epic. When they knocked off UConn that was insane.
I legit thought Mason was a community college before that. The GMU campus got some nice upgrades too.

We lived there for 2 summers during our job in DC and I literally never had any clue what bland NOVA town we were in
There was a fantastic Black Eyed Pea restuarant nearby and of course Dennys
Also everything in NOVA is 25 minutes away from everything else

GMUs main campus is in the middle of nowhere still. Kinda in the town of Fairfax and the only reason to go there is to go to the Fairfax county courthouse.
I know GMU students used to go to the Auld Shabeen Irish pub

Mason now has the largest number of undergrads and total enrollment in the state (aside from Liberty, I donât know how they classify all their online students).
Back in Freshâs day, it was probably more like 10-15 minutes to get from one place to another.
And hey man, you can visit me in Fairfax City. And Auld Shabeenâs still around. Donât know if students go there though. Lot more places have opened up in recent years.
