I actually disagree. He’s the best combo of size and passing ability for inbounding against the press. I think he’s done well in those late game situations throughout the year. Notre Dame comes to mind.
I don’t get it. Immediately said the same thing when he was brought in. We seem to struggle with basketball IQ stuff and make some headscratching strategic decisions when we have the lead in the final minute or two, especially on defense and in which personnel we’re using
He’s also been good in those situations.
Well, he’s had 2 bad turnovers in the past 2 games in those situations. Again, also limits the guys that can receive the ball. No reason Jacari or Sam should not be in the game.
Sorry I am being hyper critical here, but also why not run more off/def end game with Chance/Sam? I get having Chance on O, but against big guards like State why not have Lewis in on D?
Sam was awful down the stretch. He should have been taken out 2-3 possessions sooner for Chance. Tillis is a very good FT shooter and passer. I think he nets out positive.
The old Carolina guys are debating whether to ask Dallin if he was really in the original Karate Kid.
Same question could be posed regarding why Mallory over Lewis or White in those situations with all the front-end misses in the last three weeks of the season, too.
It all has worked out so far.
It is very normal to ice after games haha
Yes he did. FWIW he (Grünloh) went into the locker room at one point and came back out without ice. Should be good to go.
Thought Thomas played well overall today. Really need him to step up and wanna go far in March. We look like a completely different team when he is playing well
True, but also that was a bad decision by Mallory to inbound it right under the basket. I think they should each get half a turnover credit for that
Jacari was special today. He’s a way more complete offensive player than most give him credit for. Defense is too often lacking but he’s extremely skilled offensively.
I thought he was awesome today. He can really go get a bucket in tough situations for sure. Not many others on the team have that ability.
And he played so freaking hard today. Love that.
His steal and layup was a turning point
Been saying for a bit now that TDR and Malik need to become more selfish in the offense since and going forward.
Jim Carrey needs to decide on a face already
Couldn’t watch this afternoon and for some reason Hulu didn’t record. Anyone have a link to a replay?
