That’s absolutely fair. I think part of that overthinking was due to trying to get down the scheme. He still struggles with hedges at times and we also changed some so we dont do some of those things as often which helps with the overthinking and being comfortable. (I was screaming from the roof tops about simplifying with a young team as the breakdowns were atrocious)
I dont think Tony started playing Minor because he started getting the defense down. I think he started playing minor because we were desperate for any post presence and Buchanan being a little raw still. So much so that Tony was willing to adjust to get him on the floor. And it’s been really good since.
