Silver Creek (IN) forward Trey Kaufman picked up an offer from Virginia today during his Zoom meeting with Tony Bennett, he announced on Instagram
Coach Bennett has been at Silver Creek twice to see Kaufman in September and again in January. There’s an existing relationship, as usual when offers are made in Spring. He plays for Kyle Guy’s Indiana Elite AAU program.
Indiana, Purdue, and Louisville seem to be the primary schools involved in Kaufman’s recruitment. He joins DaRon Holmes as the only modern forwards with a Virginia offer. He’ll be tough to get for sure.
