Long but fun game today.
Hoos win 14 to 5 and improve to 3-1 after spotting VMI a 3-0 lead.
The warmer weather in Charlottesville today certainly had the UVA bats feeling better.
Chris Newell hit a grand slam off an 0-2 count for his, and UVA’s first home run of the season.
Zack Gelof followed it up later with his own home run off of The Clubhouse structure in left field.
