Him and Kihei both averaged ~5.4 last year so I could very much see Reece averaging 7+ as the primary ballhandler

Although I believe Iā€™m the only one yet to take the over, I wouldnā€™t put a lot of money on it. Maybe a six pack of Dragonā€™s choice.

But I do see us scoring a bit higher this year with both better shooting and more transition scoring. With our increased athleticism and length, I would definitely take the over on 12 for Reece :bangbang:

One benefit of Dunn on the perimeter for defense instead of the post is that him and Beekman can get out and run. Dunn disrupts the theee point shot, Beeks gets the long rebound then they put on the jets

I said under, but close. Iā€™d pause at 14, and probably go over at 13. Here are my thoughts:

  • This is Reeceā€™s team, so if he chooses to shoot, he will shoot (if that makes sense). His usage should go up significantly.
  • Heā€™s (fingers crossed) fully healthy. In our big games last year, before he got dinged, he went for 10, 17, and 18 (Baylor, Ilinois, Mich.). That averages to 15.
  • I think this team has more question marks on O than D. When I think about how this team could be good on O, there are various scenarios, but one of the more prominent ones is that Reece takes the leap offensively. And even if he does, 15 is still a lot (we only have one guy over that about 60% of the time or so, just eyeballing), but itā€™s within range.
