Best Defender in history?

Akil broke his hand at Lebron Camp. That doesnt happen and Akil is also a different player…

are you saying Akil is better than Darion or he is a great defender despite his injury.

I think Akil was more versatile and quicker laterally. Darion was a much better Shot Blocker and rebounder.

For the Pack line, I’m taking Akil @tugard

Agree on Darion for blocks and offensive rebounds, but Akil was a better defensive rebounder. I also believe Akil ran the court a bit better. But that is a testament to how good Akil was in the pack line. If Akil hadn’t been there, Darion would have been tops.

I think Darion overall was the better player. For some reason I believe Akil had a better attitude and buy in. But I have no idea. Darion was on his way but he had leg issues. I also think Darion wanted tu score and Akil was content. Its crazy we had Darion, Akil, Tobey and Gill.

Yep, we challenge for a championship in 2015 if Justin doesn’t get hurt. Now, 2015 was a MONSTER year in college basketball with Kentucky starting 38-0, Duke and Wisconsin having huge years. Gonzaga, Arizona, and Villanova lost ten games between them and were also-rans!

With a healthy Justin, that was our 2nd best team.

Can’t have that conversation without Ralph & Malcolm at the top of the list. But Dre and Cornel would be next for me!

Cornel is working with my son. He’s great!!
