Proves he is Virginia ready, Defense on lock, offense comes and goes.

Uh, well, having watched the game as I was falling asleep last night, I wouldn’t exactly say the defense was on lock, but it was certainly better than the offensive end. Also, one of those fouls was an offensive foul resulting in a turnover when his team was up 1 with like 7 seconds to go. They ended up losing after the turnover.

Anyway, he had a good weekend overall, but as I was watching this game the words ā€œred shirtā€ kept flashing in my brain. But there’s a ton of time between now and when he arrives at UVA, and he was probably wiped from all the previous games in the weekend. So would be dumb of me to read too much into one game.

FWIW I have no opinion on Buchanan. I don’t follow recruiting and prospects. I don’t even know when his supposed to arrive on grounds (next aug?) I just feel like stirring the pot today. So I’m not saying he can’t play just having some fun picking apart an isolated state line.

If by AUG you mean mid-JUN 2023 then yes.

Whatever

By august we’ll have already overreacted to an 8 second video in the hoops Instagram where he yams it on Shedrick and then shoots a 3 on the next play (although it will cut before we see it go in)

Hah true.

Shedrick will still be a Hoo in 23? Geez when guys stick at UVA they stay around forever.

Crazy thing is that, if he uses his Covid year, Shedrick could still be on the roster for the 24-25 season lol

This year is huge for Shedrick’s pro potential. If he takes a huge leap he might not be here next year. I don’t see any reason he couldn’t be as good this year as mark williams was last year.

n’t?

Good catch thanks

Neither. The correct answer is ā€œYoke.ā€ At least it was circa 1985.

Yoke another good one. Dam I am forgetting others.

Yoke is more like an Elijah dunk where flush is kinda regular way big man expected finish. Yam I feel is equal opportunity with some emphasis ala yoke

I hope you’re right but I him taking the long route to the pros and @paperboy 8th yr option may come true.

I’ve never understood posterized. I mean, I understand it, but the guy is playing defense. Little chance he can do anything about it, little chance the dunker screws up because he’s there, good chance he’s gonna be made fun of for trying…but he still does it. Getting posterized isn’t a bad thing to me, it’s an admission you play defense.

No one laughs the 1% of the time the dude blocks or stops a dunk.
