The students and teachers at Walker went crazy today when members of the UVA Football squad came by to work and hang with the kids. Jordan came by our Language Arts classroom 4th period to help students work on a personal narrative writing assignment. Then when I was walking through the cafeteria toward the end of the day I saw Bryce working with a small group of students like a seasoned teacher. It was clear these are not just football players, they are charismatic community leaders.

We have to be real careful with photos of students on social media, but the players were totally gracious about that with students and teachers. Awesome guys!
