We simply can’t turn down the marketing opportunity of a chubby dude with goggles who can shoot the 3.

@Raleigh_Hoo (or anyone), how and how much does Strength of Record rank factor into the NCAAT selection process? Thanks.

I think Michigan State is a lock but a loss to Indiana would be interesting in terms of seeding…

I think if IU beats them today then they play each other again as part of the Big 10 tourney first round.

I think if the committee was looking at UVa vs Indiana St, they would be deciding if the ACC should only get 3 teams while the MVC would get 2 (which would be unprecedented historically). A bigger concern would be Wake taking that 4th spot with a tourney run and then them making that decision.

Really hope we can just beat (likely) Clemson on Thursday, and make the debate unnecessary.

Who would you rather play in the ACC quarterfinals, Clemson or Miami? (forget who the 3rd possibility is). My guess is a win gets UVA into the NCAAT regardless. But losing to anybody other than Clemson on Thursday would crush any hopes.

I sort of expect Miami to show up in midseason form next week too since there’s something to play for again.

Miami probably. Even in mid season form. Think we have the discipline to make them pay on offense regardless. Clemson will tough to get much going on O.

Would love to play Miami on Thursday. They have no bench whatsoever and would be playing their 3rd game in 3 days. We’d boat race them.

Option C) BC, lol.

Clemson. We’re 14-1 against them over the past decade. Brownell is flummoxed by Bennett. (And a Q1 win — or loss — is better than Q2 or Q3.)

They now have UVa odds at +172, so at least some positive movement

It’s probably the second most important single metric behind NET

I thought we all agreed that CER was the second most important metric… amIright @DavetheWave?

ACC tourney odds, UVA +1300, Clemson +950 (and they have to play an extra game). Though vegas may view us has having no shot against Duke after last time so that could be baked in as well.

Probably because me and others here dropped a few bucks each on it. The LRA effect haha

Potentially dumb question but let’s assume we get in…is location for a seed as high as ours will be just completely random? Like we have a 25% of getting placed in any region?

I don’t know how to word this but what I’m getting at is I just really want them to be in Charlotte so I can go watch. That’s all

Yeah I think we have a 12.5% of getting any pod location.

I am not sure what I will do with Indiana State. They may be my last team but may not either way I doubt when all is said and done they have an at large bid.

Iowa going down.

Yeah their loss makes me feel better, that was a golden opportunity for them
