🫧 Bubble Watch

Time for Hoos to do work. Other teams ain’t solving March for us.

The question remains.

Even NC State’s win (while delightful) just keeps another potential bid-stealer alive. I should stop paying attention to the bubble. We just gotta win.

And Dayton goes down giving back that spot. So the A-10 will get 2. Better win tonight to not be nervous.

Hilarious that we may have managed to find the one possible path to not making the tournament after beating GT and making ACC semis. Look terrible against BC and possible blowout to a not Duke team.

But gutsy win

K State lost to Iowa St but they were like 8th out, so no not really. I’m not willing to call us a lock yet because everyone around us is still in the hunt for multiple Q1 wins.

I do think we’re most likely in with a loss next game. I also think we will win next game.

Baylor/Cincy went our way but Cincy was like 6-8 out.

It looked like Marquette/Nova went our way in my app. Go ahead Marquette score with 1s but it’s going to OT, so must have been waived off.

Wow Marquette appeared to be Nova at buzzer but rule not out of hand in time OT

There’s no way we aren’t at least play in now. Our SOR will be right around 30 lol

We should shift focus to winning the ACCT. playing a team that will be on their 4th game in 4 days. Maybe Pitt can knock off unc tomorrow who knows.

Man this PA announcer at the Nova/Marquette game is the loudest most talkative one I have ever heard

Well 2/2 on our favored future opponent getting knocked off, Pitt should feel good lol

The only way we are not in the NCAAT is if NCST wins the ACCT.

Glad we won; bubble hasn’t seemed to cooperate tonight

Are we sure Villanova’s 29th loss keeps them out?

I think nova is finally dead, thought DePaul had done it last night, and Marquette 10 mins ago …

It’s hard to say where we are (where we’ll be in Bracket Matrix 3/15 update), but it’s probably 3rd to 5th in. Did we pass Seton Hall? Maybe. Did we get passed by St. John’s today? Probably. Would Colorado and New Mexico Q1 wins tonight pass us? We’re very close to them, and we only had a close Q2 win.

We could be as bad as 2nd to last in at the end of the night. And we only have a Q2 game tomorrow.

I’d say our odds of getting in now are 80-90%, but it STILL isn’t a lock sadly.

-----last two byes--------
Seton Hall LOST Q1
Mississippi St WON Q2
----------------last four in-----
UVA WON Q2
St John’s WON Q2
Colorado -3.5 vs Utah (Q1)
Indiana St
------out-----
New Mexico +1 vs Boise St (Q1)
Texas A&M WON Q2
Providence WON Q1
Pitt WON Q2
Ohio St WON Q2

-----DEAD-------
Villanova LOST Q1
Wake LOST Q1
Iowa LOST Q2
Cincy LOST Q2
K State LOST Q1

I will know more after I do a full breakdown in the morning. But my thoughts are that we are in pretty good shape, still cant say lock IMO. As Pitt/NC State, Providence, Ohio State could still theoretically win their tournaments and steal multiple at large spots. I think we are anywhere from the 2nd to 5th team in the field at the moment depending how you sort, UVA, Colorado, St. JOhns Seton Hall. I tend to put UVA/Colorado over Seton Hall/St. Johns but Lunardi and others dont. So we shall see.
