I’m definitely at peace after that one. Can’t feel ‘wronged’ if you don’t get in when all you needed was either:

a) your two best free throw shooters to go 2/5 from the line

b) your HOF coach to use the 3 fouls to give up 3 late

If we don’t make it in after that I will be at peace with it. If we do make it in I will have a bit of hope to win a game after the floor game looked competent these last 3 contests. Better spot to be in than where I thought we’d be one week ago

If FAU wins, and State and Oregon both lose, I don’t see how it’s possible for us to not make it unless they throw Indiana State a bone after how terrible we looked on offense for most of past 2 games.

I’m not sure lunardi knows anything anymore but he has us as the last team in and New Mexico will take our spot if they win tonight. He does seem to have a big East bias with seton hall and St. John’s above us.

I would be okay with an NIT game or two if Leon and Gertrude got 40 minutes but if it’s just to play everyone who wont or shouldn’t be here next season, hard pass

Accept it for the practices and game experience (hopefully for the younger guys on our roster), but not gonna lie as a fan I couldn’t give less of a shit about the NIT.
