I just smiled to myself contemplating every national hoops pundit and lots of butthurt coaches complaining about us being included in the field. Thatâd be fun. 25% chance of that and 75% chance of me doing this to the post mortem threadâŠ

Well itâs a least good that they think there is a possibility that we are last one in and are hedging a bit. Outside possibility for sure. As bad as State was for us, them winning the tournament the way they did beating Duke, us, and Carolina convincingly is at least good for thought re: how deep the conference was (deep not great). It reinforces the 3rd strongest conference idea. Not sure it holds much water but we will see this evening.

Iâm officially on the FAU shouldnât be in train. I donât think their resume is that good and they donât pass the âeye testâ for me. I posted a few weeks ago that they seemed very overrated to me. I imagine human nature means last yearâs Final 4 run will help them with the committee.
