Can you just buy the subscription using your son’s e-mail? That should be it.

I just spoke to the back-end Discourse folks. They are implementing a way to gift subscriptions… hopefully later this week. I will let you know more details when I know them.

If it’s not meant to be a surprise, can’t HoozTakes son just create an account here, and then HoozTakes puts the subscription payment on his card?
If it’s supposed to be a surprise, then that idea is moot obviously
