Several years ago, our daughter was at Madison Park Beach on Lake Washington in Seattle wearing a UVa sweatshirt. An older couple approached her and said proudly ‘Our nephew plays basketball at the University of Virginia. His name is Kihei - he’s really short.’

Without paying for Terp premium content I’m going to guess that Maryland leads and that they’ll be securing his commitment any day now. Seems to be how those Terp and Nova “experts” roll.

Yeah it’s weird that the article mentions UVA as his dream school but completely skips over the fact we offered him this past week. You’d think that would be a pretty pertinent detail lol.

Reasons he would be a solid get for us.
-Meets our Wisconsin player quota (from Phenom/Team Herro like Kon Reece and Rohde)
-Helps fill that Braxton/Anderson/Gill forward role that would compliment Matt Hodge well
-Helps maintain the UVA hair game

So far in 16U Peach Jam has had 26 pt and 31 pt outings.
Edit: the actual dream though is to land both Matthew Hodge and David Punch and then redshirt David Punch to 2025 since he’s young enough to be a 2025 kid. Not sure if I would take the kid above over Punch.
