I don’t quite understand this. All seniors who have played much of the year can play another year? And so on
It’s more relevant for spring sports… but basically I think that’s how it’s supposed to work. Would be nuts

In theory basketball is included i honestly dont think the rule passes

It seems far fetched and honestly I’m not sure it even makes sense for a lot of players. I imagine they wouldn’t allow the kids to transfer and essentially become a grad transfer.

I do not see how this can be done with winter sports. Although no champions are crowned, the regular seasons are complete. For the spring sports, I could see restoring a year of eligibility or allowing a special redshirt year for all players.

Yeah I don’t see it happening with winter sports. Do you grant an extra year to UNC’s seniors too? They finished their year.
