It strikes me watching the clips that Ron is probably fairly comfortable asking the bigs to facilitate, given that when he had Aly Khalifa at Charlotte, he had him throwing dimes all over the place.

Most glaring of all is lack of a real point guard. Cant believe it but Sharma may actually look best of everyone as a true point on this team
I also need to have a discussion with Jay and Ron on press break approach

He does - but if we switch to this offense it’s going to be rough for him.
I was most disappointed in those energy clips on defense, though. If he’s coming off the bench there’s no reason he shouldn’t be flying around all of the time.

Hahaha. Run the ole “hey guys lets set up to get pressed”. Takes the ball out very slowly with guard to guard inbound
Gotta inbound with one of Cofie or Saunders, maybe even the Duke guy if he ever plays again

Agree brother. Wife mentioned it last game “why do they wait for the press to set?”
When they could easily make the 2nd pass to mid court and break the press instead of letting the trap set then fight to make an exit pass.
Would much prefer to see Saunders/Cofie make the inbounds

I posted the above in August - prior to Lang redshirt obviously (and CTB retirement).
Having Lang off the bench would be somewhat of a happy medium to Blake and ARob - experience and size.
